Partnerships
God calls the local church to fulfill responsibilities that go beyond the capabilities of its own community. It is for this reason that NCF strategically partners with specific Christian ministries and individuals who share our commitment to proclaiming the gospel in word and deed.
James & Shine Lee
God has called James and Shine Lee as long-term missionaries to the Philippines, to continue the missions work that Shine’s parents started in Occidental Mindoro. For the past 30 years, Shine’s parents have been faithfully ministering to the Mangyans, a local indigenous people group.
After leading many Mangyans to Christ, Shine’s parents planted churches throughout Occidental Mindoro. In order to raise up local pastors and lay leaders, they started All Nations Mission School, which became an important training ground for gospel ministry.
One of the most pressing needs for all the local pastors and lay leaders is ongoing theological education. As an ordained pastor, James (M.Div., Th.M.) will primarily focus on equipping the current and the next generation of local pastors and lay leaders. As a counselor, Shine will minister to women and children in various capacities.
It is their prayer and hope that more unreached Mangyans will come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and that this gospel movement will not only have a lasting impact on the island of Mindoro, but also spread throughout the Philippines for the glory of God.
Milal
We are excited for our new partnership with Milal!
Milal was formed in 1979 to evangelize to people with disabilities. Milal's mission is to work with the disabled to create a world in which everyone can live and love one another for who they are, encourage evangelism in the church, and raise community awareness of people with disabilities.
Milal hosts a weekly Saturday program called Agape, and NCF is committing to volunteering once a month. These programs offer volunteers opportunities to meet and cultivate meaningful relationships with Milal brothers and sisters through art, cooking, and physical education classes.
Currently, Agape is only for adults, mostly in their 20s and 30s, with special needs. Agape takes place at the Milal location in Bayside (214-22 42nd Ave. Queens, NY 11361) every Saturday, from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm.
If interested in helping Milal, please contact Stephanie and also check our announcements for our next volunteer event.
Inner City Cru
“In the inner city, if you can’t touch it, you can’t use it; if it doesn’t help you survive — then it isn’t real. Don’t talk about hope unless you can demonstrate it.
That’s why Cru® partners with inner-city churches that are committed to ministering to the whole person — body, mind, and spirit.”
- Cru Website
Inner City Cru is one of our partner ministries here at New Creation Fellowship. They exist to serve and mobilize local churches to live out God’s heart for the poor, so that all can grow in Christ. They hope to see cities transformed by the hope and justice of the gospel.
One way that Inner City Cru tries to carry out their mission is by handing out ‘Boxes of Love’ and ‘Homeless Care Kits’ to the less fortunate in the city. The ‘Boxes of Love’ contain a meal for a family of six, as well as, a copy of the New Testament. The ‘Homeless Care Kit’ contains a blanket, warm scarf and socks, personal hygiene items and Christian literature. A major way that we, at NCF, support our partner is that we participate in the packing and preparing of the ‘Homeless Care Kits,’ which happens about once a month. The event is open to young children to adults so it is a way for families to serve together.
